Can my house handle an EV charger?
In most cases, yes. A standard home EV charger draws around 32 amps. During our survey, we check your main incoming fuse and consumer unit. Do I need a new consumer unit (fuse box)?

Tethered vs Untethered chargers: What's the difference?
A 'tethered' charger has the charging cable permanently attached to the unit—you just uncoil it and plug it into your car. An 'untethered' (or socketed) charger is just a socket on the wall; you must use the cable provided in your car's boot to connect it. Tethered is generally more convenient, while untethered looks neater when not in use.
